Jacobaea vulgaris is a ubiquitous plant of grasslands and scrub; it is a ‘noxious weed’ under the 1959 Weeds Act in the U.K. (like Rumex obtusifolius, Rumex crispus, Cirsium arvense and Cirsium vulgare).
