Pictorial guide to the flora of the British Isles
Erica vagans grows natively on the Lizard Peninsula (VC1: West Cornwall & Scillies) and perhaps at one site in County Fermanagh, and has become naturalised elsewhere.

Unusually, Erica vagans has flowers with a broad opening and exserted stamens (in Erica carnea and Erica erigena, the flowers are narrower; in our other heathers, the stamens are shorter).
