Pictorial guide to the flora of the British Isles
Dryopteris aemula has glands on both surfaces of the leaf, and smells of newly mown hay when disturbed; it grows in Ireland and western Britain, with outlying populations in the New Forest, the Weald, the North York Moors and Orkney.
