Vicia orobus is an erect, self-supporting, perennial vetch that grows in Wales and the Inner Hebrides, as well as some other sites in Scotland, a few in western England and a few in Ireland.

Vicia orobus produces spikes of 6–20 flowers; the fruiting pods are 20–30 mm long.
