Synonym | Kobresia simpliciuscula (Wahlenb.) Mack.

Carex simpliciuscula can be abundant in wet flushes on calcareous mountains in central Scotland and Teesdale; it differs from our other Carex species in that the nut is exposed within an incompletely fused glume.
