The garden shrub Viburnum × rhytidophylloides is an artificial hybrid of Viburnum rhytidophyllum and Viburnum lantana.

Viburnum × rhytidophylloides shares the rugose, semi-evergreen leaves of Viburnum rhytidophyllum, but has at least some stellate hairs on their upper surface.
