Saxifraga aizoides grows in damp, usually montane, areas of northern England, the Scottish Highlands, Hoy (VC111: Orkney), the Dartry Mountains (and a few small areas nearby) and on the Antrim coast.

The narrow yellow petals separate Saxifraga aizoides from all our other saxifrages.
