Astilbe × arendsii is a garden hybrid between Astilbe japonica and Astilbe chinense.

The petals of Astilbe × arendsii are elliptic and 2–2.5 times longer than the sepals (narrower and longer in Astilbe chinense; broader and shorter in Astilbe japonica).
