Drabella muralis is a winter annual of limestone rocks and walls; although it can be found at widely scattered sites, it may only be native to the Pennines and parts of south-western England.

The white flowers of Drabella muralis have simple, narrow petals; the fruits are flattened pods, about 3 times longer than wide, with the valve midribs at the edges.

A rosette of basal leaves is present when the plant is flowering, and there are also toothed stem-leaves with clasping bases; the plant is adorned with numerous stellate hairs.
